David Adamson is an internationally
recognised reproductive endocrinologist and surgeon
and has been president of many professional societies,
including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART),
American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists
(AAGL) and Society of Reproductive Surgeons. He is a
Board member of the International Federation of Fertility
Societies and the International Committee Monitoring
ART.
Dr Adamson has published and lectured
extensively internationally on infertility, ART, endometriosis
and reproductive surgery. He also serves on numerous
editorial, government, industry and consumer organisation
advisory boards. His research interests involve endometriosis,
infertility and assisted reproductive technologies.
He also founded and directs Advanced
Reproductive Care (ARC), the largest network of IVF clinics
in the United States. ARC is dedicated to making high
quality infertility care available to more patients
who can benefit from the assisted reproductive technologies.
Dr Adamson is a founding board member
of the World Endometriosis Research Foundation, and was appointed president on 4 January 2010.
